Based in Boca Raton, we're bringing together people throughout Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties who want to make a difference in the fight against Parkinson's disease.
Since its inception in 2006, Team Fox has raised over $95 million for Parkinson's research, with 100% of Team Fox proceeds directly funding the Foundation's high-impact research programs. As South Florida's Team Fox community, we're organizing local events, building awareness, and creating opportunities for anyone affected by Parkinson's to take action.

Creating supportive networks throughout South Florida to ensure no one faces Parkinson's alone, connecting patients, care partners, families, and supporters.
Organizing creative fundraising events that channel 100% of proceeds into The Michael J. Fox Foundation's innovative research programs aimed at breakthrough treatments.
Providing meaningful ways for every South Floridian to contribute to the cause, whether through volunteering, participating in events, or spreading awareness in their communities.

Share Your IdeasTeam Fox South Florida is the regional chapter of Team Fox, the grassroots community fundraising program of The Michael J. Fox Foundation. Based in Boca Raton, we're a community spanning Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties, united in the mission to speed a cure for Parkinson's disease through local fundraising, awareness initiatives, and support networks. While we support the Foundation's mission, we operate as an independent, volunteer-led group focused on making an impact right here in South Florida.
100% of Team Fox proceeds go directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation's research programs. This is possible because MJFF's Board of Directors covers all operational costs of the Foundation. Our South Florida team is entirely volunteer-run, ensuring that every dollar you contribute goes to funding promising research toward better treatments and ultimately a cure for Parkinson's disease.
Absolutely not! While many of our members have a personal connection to Parkinson's, we welcome anyone who wants to make a difference. Your skills, energy, and dedication are valuable to our mission regardless of your background. Some of our most active members joined simply because they wanted to contribute to a meaningful cause in their South Florida community.
Your involvement can be tailored to fit your schedule and interests. Some members participate in occasional events, while others take on leadership roles organizing activities. Whether you can give one hour a month or several hours a week, we have meaningful ways for you to contribute. We value quality over quantity and appreciate any time you can share with our community.
We need a diverse range of talents! Event planning, social media management, graphic design, photography, public speaking, medical knowledge, grant writing, community outreach, and simply a willingness to help are all valuable. We particularly need people familiar with South Florida's diverse communities and local connections. Even if you don't see your skill listed, we likely have a way for you to contribute meaningfully to our mission.
While many wonderful organizations focus on support services or advocacy, Team Fox South Florida's primary mission is accelerating research toward a cure through community fundraising. We're connected to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, which is the largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research in the world. This connection ensures that funds we raise go directly to the most promising research. We also emphasize creating a fun, energetic community where members feel empowered to take action in creative ways that showcase South Florida's unique culture and spirit.
Have a story to share about your connection to Parkinson's disease? We'd love to hear from you.
